Vienna Band Camp - Vienna, VA
Mr. Wallace has taught the percussion techniques class at Vienna Band Camp most summers since 1997. Below are a couple videos from past camps. Participants in the camp (rising 5th-9th graders) learn percussion techniques, participate in percussion sectionals, and perform with both a full concert band and percussion ensemble. Vienna Band Camp is a valuable experience for young band students, but more advanced students in grades 6-9 might want to consider DWP Summer Percussion Academy - a one week program in late July that is taught and directed by Mr. Wallace.
