The American Youth Philharmonic Orchestras and DWP are proud to announce the 2024 Summer Percussion Academy, directed by Doug Wallace. This week long camp for rising 6th through 9th graders will involve daily technique class on all standard percussion instruments, masterclasses from guest professional musicians, percussion ensemble, music theory, history of percussion, composition, and a concert for the public on Friday afternoon. The dates will be July 22nd-July 26th, and the camp will take place at Williamsburg Middle School in Arlington, VA. More info and registration link below.
