High quality rosewood clave with satin lacquer finish. Drilled on the nodes, mounted on closed posts and a solid oak base that is finished with Danish oil. Also featuring cushioned feet with grip surface to improve stability. The unit can be played with one clave (striking clave included) or with two hard mallets to facilitate difficult parts in John Cage's Third Construction or other contemporary music. A life saver!
