After a very successful inaugural season, Summer Percussion Academy back! The camp will take place at Williamsburg Middle School in Arlington, VA from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. July 21st-25th. Participants will also perform a concert for the public on Friday, July 25th at 3 p.m.
Summer Percussion Academy provides a week long camp for rising 6th through 9th graders and will involve daily technique class on all standard percussion instruments, masterclasses from guest professional musicians, percussion ensemble, music theory, history of percussion, composition, and a concert for the public on Friday afternoon.
Students should bring their own bag lunch Monday-Thursday. Pizza and other snacks will be provided on Friday. All students will receive a Summer Percussion Academy T-Shirt.
